HOLLYWOOD – Jeff Fishman of United Cinema Group (UCG), the Warrior Cobra Drive and Auto X The Series announced they will host the NASCAR Armed Forces Appreciation Night at the Irwindale Speedway on May 16, 2015 thanking all Veterans and current serving Military; as well as, First Responders for their Service while benefiting the Special Operations Warrior Foundation along with the Semper Fi Fund.
“While each of us reaps the benefits of their Service, we’re not always presented with the opportunity to thank or let Veterans, current serving members of our Military as well as First Responders know just how much we appreciate all that they do and sacrifice for us.” commented United Cinema Group Executive Producer Jeff Fishman also reminding that, “Everyone of our Heroes should never wonder whether we appreciate them. I look forward to showing them just how much we do appreciate them during Irwindale Speedway’s NASCAR Armed Forces Appreciation Night this Saturday, May 16, 2015.” In honor of our Armed Forces and First Responders, UCG’s new Artist, Lisa Casalino, will sing the National Anthem. Lisa followed-up her Debut Album, “Introducing Lisa Casalino” with the release of her last album, “I’m Old Fashioned” in May 2014 and more than 224 live performances. Lisa has opened for such notables as Chicago, The Fiesta Italiano, Joey Dee and Ybor City Jazz Festival; and performed at 54 Below, Etcetera, Etcetera, and Birdland; including a performance before an audience of 8,000 Fans at Joker Merchant Stadium in Lakeland Florida.
The Warrior Shelby Cobra will also be on display in the Fan Lane. NASCAR fans will be provided an opportunity to send Tweets, Instagram photos and other Social Media thanking; as well as, honoring our Heroes.
About Warrior Cobra Drive
On June 15, 2015, a Shelby Cobra will be driven by Richard Rutherford and his son from Carlsbad, near Camp Pendleton and arrive at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina on the 4th of July. The Shelby Cobra will be driven across America to raise awareness and donations for the Special Operations Warrior Foundation along with the Semper Fi Fund at 41 difference Press Conference Events where support can be shown via Instagram / social media that UCG provides at each event. A donation is encouraged but not mandatory. Supporters are encouraged to sign a large poster-sized ‘Thank You Card’ that will be presented to the troops at Camp Lejeune during a 4th of July event.
